Brief Description of Work:  This position performs complex professional work in business requirements analysis, project management, technical consultation, and in the design and preparation of system integrations. This position will assist with the development of creative and highly technical solutions within specified time frames.   In addition, this position serves as a liaison between the IT Department and other departments or individuals to understand and evaluate workflows, structure and operations of the organization so that recommendations can be made on possible solutions to assist with the agency achieving its goals.      

Education and Experience Required:  Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of business analyst and project management experience; or graduation from a technical school or community college with a two-year degree in an information technology field and 5 years of business analyst and project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that includes managing projects and complex software applications including client service and web based applications.  A valid driver’s license is required.

Chief Information Officer

Brief Description of Work:   Provides technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of organization-wide information technology (IT) program.  The CIO will lead Partners in planning and implementing an enterprise information system to support the decentralized and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial enterprise-wide IT operations. 

Education and Experience Required:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or other Information Technology related degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education.  Must have a minimum of five (5) years in data management and IT project management in health care and three (3) years of administrative supervisory experience.  A valid driver’s license is required.

Education and Experience Preferred:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or other Information Technology related degree, Microsoft certifications, Security Plus or similar certification, and Certified Governmental Chief Information Officer (CGCIO) or equivalent.

At a Glance:  This position performs difficult and technical work related to claims adjudication and is responsible for operationalizing the work of the Claims department.  Provides oversight and management of the Claims Supervisor and Quality Review Analysts.  Work is performed under moderate supervision of the Chief Business Officer, has a high degree of collaboration with the Finance Director.

Education and Experience Required:  Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting, Business, Public or Hospital Administration, five (5) years experience in medical claims processing including four (4) years experience in business or governmental programs; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that includes five (5) years of medical claims processing.  Must have three (3) years of administrative supervisory experience.

Education and Experience Preferred:   MBA/MHA preferred. Experience in the public mental health field or a managed care organization is highly desired due to the complexity of the work of the organization.  

Licensure/Certification Requirements:  CSS, CCSP or CCSH is strongly preferred.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:  Current unrestricted LCSW, LPC, LPA, LMFT or LCAS licensure with the appropriate professional board of licensure in the state of North Carolina or licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the N. C. Board of Nursing.  Employee is responsible for complying with respective licensure board’s continuing education/ training requirements in order to maintain an active license.

Education and Experience Required:  Associate Degree in Accounting or Business and five (5) years of experience in claims processing in a hospital/healthcare setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Education and Experience Preferred:  Associate Degree in Accounting or Business and three (3) years of experience in hospital coding and billing conventions in a hospital setting that includes UB04, coding and hospital audit experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Hospital coding credentials and hospital psychiatric medical records knowledge are desirable.
