Attention Providers: Enrollment and Credentialing Process Now Open

The enrollment process to become a provider in Partners BHM’s Provider Network is open at this time to those behavioral health providers that have provided and billed a Medicaid behavioral health service within 60 days of the enrollment application to a Medicaid enrollee whose county of Medicaid eligibility is within Partners BHM's catchment area.  Documents can be located www.partnersbhm.org/providers/provider-enrollment.aspx.

Effective January 1, 2013, providers will have to be credentialed, enrolled and contracted with Partners BHM in order to bill for services rendered to enrollees for behavioral health services who have Medicaid and/or want to provide services that are funded with an IPRS contract.  The following providers will have to submit an application to be credentialed, enrolled and have a contract with Partners BHM:

1. A licensed independent practitioner;
2. A provisionally licensed practitioner employed by an agency;
3. An agency that provides mental health/substance abuse enhanced and basic benefit services;
4. A .5600 licensed facility;
5. A hospital that provides emergency, outpatient and inpatient services to behavioral health consumers;
6. A licensed ICF/MR facility;  
7. An agency that currently provides CAP MR/DD services to consumers with Medicaid;  and
8. An agency that receives State (IPRS) funds.  

The enrollment process will remain open through December 31, 2012. On January 1, 2013, the Partners BHM Provider Network will be closed.

If you or your agency have not provided and billed a Medicaid behavioral health service for a Medicaid enrollee whose county of Medicaid eligibility is within Partners BHM’s catchment within 60 days of enrollment, you are not eligible to join the Partners BHM Provider Network at this time.

Due to the high volume of credentialing and enrollment applications Partners BHM is processing, only complete credentialing and enrollment applications received by Partners BHM by October 1, 2012 will be eligible for a contract with Partners BHM with a January 1, 2013 start date.
