S.M.A.R.T. – Self Management and Recovery Training – S.M.A.R.T. Recovery’s approach to behavioral change is built around a 4-point program to help individuals gain independence from addictive or maladaptive behaviors. The goal is to teach members enhanced motivation techniques with an emphasis on maintenance; cope with urges; manage thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; and live a balanced Life.

Focus on key areas of Awareness and change, motives and goals, Beliefs and emotions that can change human behaviors. This is not designed to dredge up the past, about which we can do nothing. We can do something about the present and future.
