Health Education and Aging Resource Team (HEART)

Partners’ Health Education and Aging Resource Team (HEART) helps people learn more about mental health and substance use problems that affect older adults. The team includes nurses, licensed clinicians and mental health experts. HEART is approved by the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation to give continuing education credits.

Who is HEART?

The Health Education and Aging Resource Team (HEART) provides free information, education and training to people working with older adults living in the community. HEART’s goal is to increase the understanding of the following mental health issues and how they relate to older adults:
