Partners Behavioral Health Management Names Speaker Moore Legislator of the Year
Partners Behavioral Health Management has named North Carolina House Speaker Tim Moore (R-Cleveland) of District 111 as Legislator of the Year.
Speaker Moore was recognized as 2018 Partners Legislator of the Year for making the region and the state a better place to live, work, and play through his leadership and commitment to Partners’ mission to improve lives and strengthen communities.
“His leadership and support have ensured that health care decisions are made by local citizens working together in their communities to make certain that individuals have the chance for fulfilling lives and that no one is left behind,” said Partners’ Chief Executive Officer Rhett Melton. “Even more than the results of his tireless efforts, I thank the Speaker and applaud him for the way he executes his duties; with the highest level of integrity and a commitment to principled leadership.”
Partners knows the process of ensuring the best mental health, substance use disorder, and intellectual and developmental disability services to citizens in its catchment area and across the state begins and ends with productive relationships between consumers, health care providers, and local and state government leaders. Speaker Moore thanked Partners for its outreach efforts in collaboration with the state and behavioral health providers.
“Partners serves our most vulnerable populations and makes a big impact through the services they offer patients and their investments in our local communities,” Moore said.
Partners looks forward to continuing work with Speaker Moore and state legislators in shaping the future of North Carolina’s health care system.
