Partners Represented on National Quality Forum Action Team

Renee Colson, Human Resources Operations Manager for Partners, recently represented the company on the National Quality Forum’s Action Team to Prevent Healthcare Workplace Violence. This group, consisting of 28 NQF member organizations, developed an Issue Brief that identifies key strategies to support healthcare organizations and community stakeholders in the prevention, reporting, and reduction of healthcare workplace violence. ​Learn more about the Action Team’s work.

In 2017, Partners was the first North Carolina LME-MCO accepted into the membership of the National Quality Forum, an organization that leads efforts to improve health and healthcare quality throughout the country. Partners’ employees have been involved in a number of NQF initiatives, such as the Opioid Stewardship Action Team, the National Quality Partners Leadership Consortium, the Serious Mental Illness Action Team, the Healthcare System Readiness Committee and the Trauma Outcomes Committee.
