The NC Medicaid Ombudsman program is available to present to providers, their staff, stakeholders and members they serve about the Medicaid Managed Care model and the Ombudsman’s role in the process.
The NC Medicaid Ombudsman provides free and confidential support and education about the rights and responsibilities people have under NC Medicaid. The Ombudsman offers help if people with Medicaid have trouble getting access to healthcare and connects people to resources like social services, housing resources, food assistance, legal aid, and other programs.
The Ombudsman will present to your organization, employees, patients, or members about this new program and answer questions about the changes to NC Medicaid. You can request a presentation/outreach event by emailing Outreach Coordinator Natalie Marles at nataliem@ncmedicaidombudsman.org.
If you need information or education on Medicaid Managed Care or have general questions, contact the NC Medicaid Ombudsman toll-free at 877-201-3750 or visit ncmedicaidombudsman.org. The call center offers free interpretation in over 150 languages.
